A female professional disc golfer walked off the course rather than engage in competition against a man who was allowed to compete against her in the women’s competition.
In the latest example of long overdue pushback against those seeking to destroy women’s sports by opening competition up to biological males with gender dysphoria, Abigail Wilson refused to participate in the sham at the Disc Golf Pro Tour’s Music City Open in Nashville, Tenn., on Friday.
Female disc golfer Abbie Wilson walked off the course during the Music City Open in Nashville to protest a MAN who was allowed to compete against her in the WOMEN’s division.
“Females must be protected in our division, this is unfair, I refuse to play.”

Wilson strode up to the tee area and pulled her arm back to fling the disc before abruptly stopping, proceeding to walk away rather than to take part in the sham competition, becoming a hero in the process.
“Females must be protected in our division,” she said as she walked off. “This is unfair. I refuse to play.”
“Today I most likely ended my career and that is okay because this is bigger than me,” Wilson said in a Friday post to Instagram.
“Today I refused to play at the Music City Open. Females deserve to have their gender protected division be protected. This is unfair. I have worked so hard to get to this point to play on the DGPT, but the sacrifice of my career and my hard work is worth it if it means I can make a difference for other women, daughters, nieces, and the future of our sport. If you feel how wrong it is to have biological males be competing in female protected divisions in sports, now is the time to speak up and stand your ground,” she said.
“I took this stand today because I was having anxiety about playing with the openly trans player on tour because of the planned protests for this year and the threats of violence at the event last year. After speaking with a member of the DGPT staff yesterday they made it clear they would be unwilling to change me to an earlier tee time when regarding my fears of safety on the course,” Wilson continued.
Wilson’s heroism drew kudos from X users, including conservative journalist and podcaster Megyn Kelly, who wrote, “Way to go Abigail” in a post to X, sharing video of the pro disc golfer’s act of defiance.

I stand with Abie! More women need to do the same

Good for, all the women should have walked off with her.
Next competition, if a man is in it, walk off again and again.

Bravo to Abbie Wilson for having the courage to walk off the course at the Music City Open in protest of a biological male competing in the women’s division.
This isn’t hate. It’s common sense, fairness, and protection for women who have worked hard for a space of their own… https://t.co/C1jscIJ2Mf

We women should not have to do this, however, the tyranny of oppression is back in the form of MEN pretending to be women & invading our spaces, or sports, and our rights. Stand tall. Don’t submit.
We are real women. The only kind.— JEM (@trixster001) April 4, 2025
The same leftists who applaud Rosa Parks for refusing to give up her seat on a bus will excoriate these women for defending their rights.
This is what it takes for women to protect their rights & spaces. We should support them.

Abbie Wilson showed real courage and common sense. Women shouldn’t have to silently accept this kind of blatant unfairness. Biological men competing in women’s divisions undermines the integrity of female sports and erases years of hard-fought progress. It’s not “inclusive” —…

Why don’t more women do this? Maybe they’re afraid to give up the opportunity they worked so hard for, but if they’re unfairly beaten anyway, their efforts were just as much for nothing. Might as well make a statement & push for change!

Good for her…More women should do the same.
JMO: …If organizations holding competitions including @Olympics were fair with competition they’d create a new category: Trans compete against other Trans.
