OPINION:
Dr. Ronny Jackson, who took care of three presidents as top doc at the White House, is on a mission: Find out just how much President Biden’s obvious “cognitive decline” was hidden from the public during his single term in office.
To hear Dr. Jackson tell it, the conspiracy was concocted by what can be described only as an Avengers-level “medical shadow squad” led by Mr. Biden’s former personal physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor. Dr. Jackson claims Dr. O’Connor locked away tons of reports about Mr. Biden’s mysterious medication cocktail that was allegedly consumed to keep the clearly dysfunctional president operational.
What’s more, Dr. Jackson says there were neurologists and Parkinson’s specialists in and out of the White House throughout Mr. Biden’s time in office. Dr. Jackson said Mr. Biden might have been just a fumbling facade for the real people running the government as his brain took a vacation.
Dr. Jackson isn’t messing around, and now he has a powerful platform to launch an investigation. He is a congressman from Texas who serves as chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence’s subcommittee on oversight and investigations.
“Dr. Kevin O’Connor will absolutely, positively be implicated in the cover-up of this. He is a massive, massive part,” Dr. Jackson told the New York Post. “I guarantee you Kevin O’Connor has medical information that the American people don’t have. He was probably putting President Biden on lots of medications that we have no clue of in efforts to try to treat his cognitive decline.
“I’ve known him for a long time. He’s part of the Biden family,” he said of Dr. O’Connor. “He would do or say anything to cover up and protect that family, regardless of what it meant professionally for him. This could not have been covered up without him, and Jill Biden in particular.”
Meanwhile, more info keeps dribbling out about how far White House officials went to hide Mr. Biden’s clear descent. Mr. Biden’s former chief of staff, Ron Klain, professionally gaslit America with his cheery Biden fitness messaging (“sharp as a tack,” he said, after the disastrous debate). Now, though, he’s telling a different story.
Reporter Chris Whipple, in a new book titled “Uncharted: How Trump Beat Biden, Harris, and the Odds in the Wildest Campaign in History,” writes that Mr. Klain was fully aware of just how bad Mr. Biden had gotten.
Mr. Klain now acknowledges Mr. Biden was “out of it” during preparations for a presidential debate with President Trump last summer. He went to Camp David to prep Mr. Biden for the June 27 debate but tells Mr. Whipple that “the president left one preparation early and fell asleep by the pool,” The Guardian reported last week.
He says Mr. Biden “didn’t know what Trump had been saying and couldn’t grasp what the back and forth was.” Mr. Biden “didn’t really understand what his argument was on inflation” and “had nothing to say about a second term other than finish the job.”
Then there’s Michael LaRosa, a former White House aide and longtime press secretary for Mrs. Biden, who famously joined her husband on stage after the debate and declared, “Joe, you did such a great job. You answered every question! You knew all the facts!”
“There are some things that are true, I mean, like the gaslighting. There was a lot of denial of the polling. And I will use the term gaslighting because that’s what they were doing, the campaign, former colleagues,” Mr. LaRosa said at a Science Institute at American University seminar last month. “The president’s team was scared to death of impromptu, unscripted, unrehearsed, unpracticed, unchoreographed anything.”
Although Mr. Biden is long gone — he offered last week to take a bigger role in party politics and top Dems said “thanks but no thanks” — the official presidential acts he did after the disastrous debate remain in question.
The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, analyzed the president’s signatures on a slew of last-minute pardons, including for Dr. Anthony Fauci and members of the House Select January 6th Committee, along with family members, and concluded that several were signed with an autopen.
“Any of the things that he signed or put into law, are they legitimate?” Dr. Jackson asked. “That’s a great question. Was he even aware of what was going on, much less actually, you know, in favor of the stuff he signed?”
Now, Dr. Jackson is going to find out. And don’t worry, it wasn’t you — they really WERE gaslighting America the whole time, claiming the president was just fine. He clearly wasn’t — but we already knew that, right?
