UK DOGE sees numerous analyses concerning wasteful spending in UK taxpayer-funded arts budgets. Over in Wales the National Museum, which has received £76 million in mostly taxpayer grants in the last two years, has come under scrutiny for its stranger exhibits. One of those is a collection of pieces of paper with Extinction Rebellion branding on it. Another exhibit is a display promoting the short-lived local newspaper The Dynamic, which campaigned against Brexit and Tories for two years before folding in 2017. UK DOGE research has discovered that the pieces of paper have set the taxpayer back £520 while the anti-Brexit newspaper display cost £5,000. National Museum Wales runs a £1.5m year-on-year funding deficit…
