If this is true, this is wild.
After UConn suffered a defeat Sunday against Florida that saw them bounced from the NCAA Tournament, a video of Huskies head coach Dan Hurley went viral of the skipper giving the Baylor basketball team some … *clears throat* … advice.
Joey Ellis, a reporter for Queen City News, was the one who shot the video.
“I hope they don’t f$&@ you like they F’ed us, Baylor. I really hope they don’t.” Danny Hurley to Baylor walking off the floor after a slug fest loss to top-seed Florida. Likely talking about officiating, if I had to guess #MarchMadness pic.twitter.com/zKKsdfsjBt

You would think that would be the end of it … on to the next story … but things escalated dramatically.
Ellis claims that the location of the scene was open to the press and he was allowed to record, but UConn director of men’s basketball communications Bobby Mullen says that’s not the case. (RELATED: UConn’s Dan Hurley Gives Entire Baylor Team Some Vulgar Advice After Two-Year Reign Comes To End)
After the video was posted and Mullen caught whiff of it, he looked for Ellis on press row and confronted him. According to allegations from Ellis, Mullen demanded that he take the footage down from social media, and if he didn’t, he would “ruin” his “f*cking life.”
Ellis refused to take down the video, which allegedly continued Mullen’s attempt at trying to give Ellis trouble. Ellis also claims that four other media members were witnesses to the scene.
