U.S. Men’s Soccer Coach Mauricio Pochettino Says America Can Win 2026 World Cup With Help Of President Trump

U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A! Let’s do it!

It’s wild how fast time flies. Crazy enough, we’re only a year and some change away from the next World Cup in 2026. I still remember it like it was yesterday covering the 2022 World Cup in my rookie year for the Daily Caller.

With that being said, I’m ready to get to it, especially considering the majority of the games will take place in the United States.

As far as Americans are concerned, the expectations for the U.S. Men’s National Team aren’t that high, but if you ask Pochettino, he has his expectations extraordinarily high. Like, so high, this man believes we can WIN the World Cup. And he thinks we can get the job done with the help of President Donald Trump. “I think we can dominate soccer, football, maybe in 10 or 15 years’ time, or maybe less: five, six, seven years. The potential is massive,” said Pochettino to the English press. “In five or 10 years, for sure we can be No. 1 in the world.”

“For us, the pressure is going to be there because we are a host,” said Pochettino. “In sport, in everything that Americans are involved in, they want to win. The players know it’s going to be massive pressure and now our president (Trump) likes to put pressure on, but it’s welcome. That means we are going to feel the adrenaline we need to feel. We are ready to deliver.”

Pochettino doubled down on that sentiment in an interview with Sky Sports.

“Yes, we can win the World Cup, with the help of President Trump and the fans,” said Pochettino.

I’m not even gonna lie… I’d crap myself if we won the World Cup. (LMAO)
