President Donald Trump is serious about going after “very, very dishonest law firms.”
The president told Fox News anchor Maria Bartiromo that there are other organizations he has an eye on following the executive order issued on the “dishonest and dangerous activity of the law firm Perkins Coie LLP,” referring to pulling security clearances and canceling contracts with the Perkins Coie group.

“We have a lot of law firms that we’re going to be going after,” Trump said on “Sunday Morning Futures.”
“Because they were very dishonest people. They were very, very dishonest. They could go point after point, after point. And it was so bad for our country. We have a lot of law firms that we’re going after,” he told Bartiromo.
Trump’s order regarding the Perkins Coie group called out activities that have “affected this country for decades.”
“Notably, in 2016 while representing failed Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, Perkins Coie hired Fusion GPS, which then manufactured a false ‘dossier’ designed to steal an election,” the order reads.
“This is an absolute honor to sign,” the president said in the Oval Office.

“Perkins Coie has worked with activist donors, including George Soro,s to judicially overturn popular, necessary, and democratically enacted election laws, including those requiring voter identification,” the order states. “In addition to undermining democratic elections, the integrity of our courts, and honest law enforcement, Perkins Coie racially discriminates against its own attorneys and staff, and against applicants.”
Perkins Coie responded in a statement, calling the executive order “patently unlawful” and declared, “we intend to challenge it,” according to the New York Times.
