President Donald J. Trump has named two Fox News hosts to the board of the Kennedy Center, Washington, D.C.’s prestigious performing arts complex that has long been the crown jewel of America’s liberal cultural elite.
On Friday, the nation’s 47th president announced that he’d tapped hosts Laura Ingraham and Maria Bartiromo for the venue’s board after he named himself as chairman last month, infuriating leftists after he banned drag shows that targeted young children.
“I am thrilled to announce that Laura Ingraham and Maria Bartiromo will be joining our Kennedy Center Board – This completes our selection,” Trump wrote in a post to Truth Social. “We look forward to restoring the Center to Greatness, and ushering in America’s Golden Age. Together, we will Make the Arts Great Again!”

Last month Trump ousted the Kennedy Center chairman and Joe Biden buddy David Rubenstein and members of the Board of Trustees as he moved to jettison those who didn’t share the vision for what he called a new “Golden Age in Arts and Culture” as the shameful “woke” era joins the disgraced ex-President on the garbage heap of history.

“At my direction, we are going to make the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., GREAT AGAIN. I have decided to immediately terminate multiple individuals from the Board of Trustees, including the Chairman, who do not share our Vision for a Golden Age in Arts and Culture. We will soon announce a new Board, with an amazing Chairman, DONALD J. TRUMP! Just last year, the Kennedy Center featured Drag Shows specifically targeting our youth — THIS WILL STOP. The Kennedy Center is an American Jewel, and must reflect the brightest STARS on its stage from all across our Nation. For the Kennedy Center, THE BEST IS YET TO COME!” Trump said at the time.
Trump’s overhaul was decried by leftists with a number of “stars” publicly announcing their resignation and others saying that they would boycott the venue, one of them being Whoopi Goldberg, the hysterical bloated co-host of ABC daytime gabfest “The View” who declared that she would not return now that Trump is running the show.
One of the top attractions to boycott the Trump-controlled Kennedy Center is the musical “Hamilton,” a favorite of the race-obsessed “woke” left featuring the cultural appropriation of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton’s life, with the producers throwing a childish temper tantrum and calling off its upcoming Kennedy Center run, a pompous gesture of protest.

“Given the recent actions, our show simply cannot, in good conscience, participate and be a part of this new culture that is being imposed on the Kennedy Center,” the musical’s lead producer Jeffrey Seller said in a statement.
“I understand why they did it,” Goldberg said of the “Hamilton” snubbing, adding, “And I have no plans to go back to the Kennedy Center until it becomes what it was supposed to be.”
Richard Grenell, Trump’s special diplomatic envoy, who was named the interim executive director of the center ripped the “Hamilton” move as “a publicity stunt that will backfire.”
