Trump Dossier Hoaxer Gets Brutal Verbal Smackdown on Live TV [WATCH]

White House correspondent Natalie Winters took Christopher Steele to task during a heated exchange on Piers Morgan Uncensored, calling out the former intelligence officer for his role in advancing unproven allegations of Russian collusion against President Donald Trump.

Steele, who authored the now-debunked Steele Dossier, was confronted over his claims that Trump’s 2016 campaign worked with Russia—allegations that were widely circulated in the media and used by the FBI to justify surveillance warrants.

“I know Christopher Steele wanted to go down in history as someone that colluded with the Clinton campaign to take down President Donald J. Trump,” Winters said.

“But I really think that you represent probably the ultimate grifter in the American political space.”

During the fiery exchange, Winters accused Steele of attempting to “sabotage” Trump’s foreign policy efforts and continuing to push unproven allegations.

“For you to even come on here, obviously you’re trying to sabotage what President Trump is doing when it comes to Russia and Ukraine. But to sit here, what is it, nearly a decade later, and try to smear President Trump as a Russian asset, to then say, ‘Well, I think he’s a Russian asset, but even though I’m really good at my job and create all these intelligence reports, it’s just sort of a feeling that I have.’”

Winters continued pressing Steele, demanding to know what further evidence he could possibly offer to support his past claims.

“I’m sorry, but what stones do you even have left to turn over to try to corroborate your claim that Trump is a Russian asset?” Winters asked.

“What? Weaponized FISA courts, surveillance, warrants, not just domestic spy agencies, international spy agencies, too. The entire DNC apparatus, a bunch of political operatives, registered foreign agents in the United States.”

She further criticized Steele for his involvement in advancing claims that hindered the America First movement and fueled ongoing conflicts.

“The American people would really appreciate it if you would stop injecting your efforts to curtail and totally tank the America First movement by smearing anyone who doesn’t get involved in forever wars or continue the needless and ceaseless dying in Ukraine and in Russia,” she added.

Steele’s dossier played a key role in the FBI’s surveillance of Trump campaign associates, including Carter Page, despite multiple investigations later proving it to be unreliable.

On May 15, 2023, Special Counsel John Durham released a report concluding that the FBI “did not and could not corroborate” the claims from the Steele Dossier.

The report found that the FBI used the unverified document to obtain FISA warrants despite lacking evidence.

Similarly, in April 2019, Special Counsel Robert Mueller released his report, confirming that no evidence was found to support the claim that Trump’s 2016 campaign colluded with Russia.

In October 2022, FBI analyst Brian Auten testified that the FBI offered Steele $1 million to provide evidence supporting the dossier’s claims. Steele never did.

Further scrutiny came in 2022, when the Federal Election Commission (FEC) fined Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) for their involvement in funding the dossier, CNN reported.

Winters also criticized Steele for his role in pushing the false narrative surrounding Hunter Biden’s laptop.

She pointed to an October 2020 letter published by Politico, signed by dozens of former intelligence officials, which dismissed reports about Hunter Biden’s laptop as a “Russian information operation.”

The authenticity of the laptop’s emails was later confirmed by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

“Well, it turned out that was true, and shame on you for the last decade trying to inject the idea that smearing President Trump as a Russian agent or Russian asset is somehow going to take the MAGA movement,” Winters said.

“It’s about putting America first, and the fact that you can still sit here and you have no actual evidence aside from one random Russian meeting… You’re a complete political hack and grifter and I wish the American political scene didn’t have your voice in it.”
