President Trump wants to make water pressure great again, with an executive order signed Wednesday rolling back regulations that affect shower water pressure.
Other appliances affected by the regulations in question, which had set maximum use standards in an effort to cut water use, included sinks and toilets.
“In my case, I like to take a nice shower to take care of my beautiful hair,” Mr. Trump quipped Wednesday afternoon from the Oval Office. “I have to stand under the shower for 15 minutes till it gets wet. It comes out: drip, drip, drip. It’s ridiculous.”
Mr. Trump said he will push for this and his other deregulation moves, including bans on paper-straw requirements, to be “memorialized” by Congress in laws that can’t be reversed by the stroke of the next Democratic president’s pen.
