Trudeau vows to fight against ‘very dumb’ tariffs; Trump’s response to the ‘governor’…

Canadian Prime Minister is vowing a fight with President Trump over the new 25% tariffs.

“So today the United States launched a trade war against Canada, their closest partner and ally, their closest friend,” Trudeau told reporters on Tuesday. “At the same time, they are talking about working positively with Russia, appeasing Vladimir Putin, a lying, murderous dictator. Make that make sense,” Trudeau told reporters on Tuesday.

Justin Trudeau is so ANGRY right now. He started his presser by taking a deep breath. President Trump truly lives in his head rent-free.

“Canadians are reasonable, and we are polite, but we will not back down from a fight, not when our country and the wellbeing of everyone in it is at stake,” he continued.

“I want to speak directly to one specific American, Donald. In the over eight years you and I have worked together, we’ve done big things,” Trudeau also said. “And now we should be working together to ensure even greater prosperity for North Americans in a very uncertain and challenging world. Now, it’s not in my habit to agree with the Wall Street Journal. But Donald, they point out that even though you’re a very smart guy, this is a very dumb thing to do. We — two friends fighting — is exactly what our opponents around the world want to see.”

Trudeau also took his gripes to X where he received plenty of leftist support, but also heated backlash:

Our country is not at stake you war mongering POS
You have impoverished the people
Depleted our military
Opened our borders
Shut down oil, gas and LNG
And enabled drug trafficking

All Canada has to do is remove ALL Canadian trade tariffs on the United States and President Trump will remove US tariffs on Canada.

Trudeau’s fiery words come almost simultaneously with Volodymyr Zelensky’s public mea culpa following his public feud with Trump. Zelensky was accused of “folding like a cheap suit” as he lamented his “regrettable” meeting with Trump.
