‘Touch a Tesla, go to a dealership… we’re coming after you’

Attorney General Pam Bondi revealed people are getting “locked up” for destroying Teslas and vandalizing dealerships.

Bondi told Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo that she has directed the Justice Department to open an investigation into Tesla vandals and how the attacks are being funded as several dealerships have been targeted.

“Look what they’re continuing to do, as I said, to Elon Musk,” she said on “Mornings With Maria.”

“They are targeting Tesla dealerships, the stations where you charge a Tesla, they’re vandalizing cars,” Bondi said.

“I have already directed an investigation be open to see how is this being funded, who is behind this,” she said as she pointed out that suspects are being arrested.

“We have someone in jail right now from one of the dealerships, they threw a Molotov cocktail through a dealership. They’re looking at 20 years in prison,’” the AG said.

“So if you’re going to touch a Tesla, go to a dealership, do anything, you better watch out, because we’re coming after you,” Bondi warned. “And if you’re funding this, we’re coming after you. We’re going to find out who you are.”

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) said this week that Congress will be investigating the violence against Tesla owners, their vehicles and dealerships.

“The heroic work of @elonmusk has so panicked the radical Left that they’re now calling him ‘racist’(?!) and engaging in domestic terrorism to attack Tesla owners and their vehicles!” Johnson wrote on X. “Congress will investigate the sources of these attacks and help the DOJ [Department of Justice] & FBI ensure those responsible are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) demanded the attacks be investigated as “domestic terrorism.”

“Today, my @DOGECommittee colleagues and I sent a letter to @AGPamBondi and @FBIDirectorKash asking for an investigation into the wave of organized attacks targeting @elonmusk, @Tesla, and the @DOGE effort,” the chair of the House Oversight and Government Reform Subcommittee on Delivering on Government Efficiency wrote on X.

“Who is behind it? Who is funding it? Is there a link with Democrat-leaning NGOs? We look forward to exposing these terrorists and bringing them to justice!” she added.
