Tesla Firebombings Aren’t an Outlier, It’s the Norm for the Democratic Party [WATCH]

Lisa Boothe, a prominent conservative commentator, recently argued that the Democratic Party is grappling with a significant mental health crisis, attributing this to the party’s reliance on government and politics for their sense of happiness.

Speaking on a Fox News segment with Charlie Hurt, Boothe emphasized that incidents like the Tesla firebombings are not isolated events, but rather part of a troubling pattern within the Democratic Party.

Charlie Hurt posed a question, asking, “So Lisa, when you go to express your political views by shoplifting, where do you go to do that?”

Boothe quickly responded, acknowledging the trick question, and reaffirmed her stance on the issue. “It’s a trick question, but the answer is, I don’t fall for it,” she said. “Look, I think the Democrat Party, they’re dealing with a mental health crisis.”

Boothe pointed to a series of violent incidents involving Democratic-leaning activists as evidence of the party’s growing radicalism.

She referred to events such as the attempted assassinations of President Donald Trump, Justice Brett Kavanaugh, and Congressman Lee Zeldin, as well as firebombings of pregnancy centers and the 2017 shooting at a Republican congressional baseball practice.

“These acts of violence aren’t isolated; they are the norm,” Boothe stated.

“You look at some of these things that are happening, particularly with Tesla, it’s not an outlier. Charlie, even just look at recent history: two attempted assassinations on President Donald Trump, an attempted assassination against Justice Brett Kavanaugh, Lee Zeldin was almost stabbed during the gubernatorial race in New York, the firebombings of pregnancy centers. You go back to 2017 when a Bernie supporter tried to gun down Republicans on the congressional softball field. Then you’ve got the summer riots in 2020. This isn’t an outlier. This is the norm in the Democrat Party.”

Boothe suggested that these acts of violence reflect a deeper issue within the party, which she believes stems from an unhealthy dependence on politics as a source of meaning and fulfillment.

“I think the Democrat Party, they’re dealing with a mental health crisis in their party,” she added.

“And that’s what happens when you make government your God, because the basis of your happiness is dependent on the headwinds of politics, which is constantly changing.”

Hurt’s response was a sharp commentary on the left’s approach to political discourse and its often violent repercussions.

The discussion highlighted the stark differences between the conservative and liberal responses to political disagreement, with Boothe suggesting that the Democratic Party’s focus on government control and reliance on political outcomes as a source of fulfillment may be driving some of the violence and unrest seen in recent years.

As political tensions continue to rise, Boothe’s comments offer a critical lens on the intersection of mental health, political ideology, and the actions of those within the Democratic Party.

The broader conversation points to a need for a more stable and grounded political climate, one that places less emphasis on government as the ultimate source of happiness and more on the well-being of the nation as a whole.
