President Donald J. Trump planted a flag at the Justice Department on Friday, delivering a speech from the headquarters of an agency that tried to frame him and throw him in prison under the Biden regime.
Trump’s blistering of his Democrat persecutors sent their allies in the media into fits of fury but he had one very unlikely defender in CNN’s Jake Tapper who admitted that he had “some legitimate grievances” over the way that he was treated by Democrat operatives who twisted the law to bring him down.
The activist anchor served up his shocking take on Friday’s edition of “The Lead” which covered the speech in which Trump blasted the “the lies and abuses” at Merrick Garland’s DOJ, an agency that he correctly pointed out “weaponized the vast powers of our intelligence and law enforcement agencies to try to thwart the will of the American people.”
Even Jake Tapper admitted Trump has legitimate grievances.
Granted there’s much more than Strzok-Page texts, FISA abuses, Carter Page, and Alvin Bragg. pic.twitter.com/Dt0rHy7Ilc

“You don’t have to be a member of MAGA to say, ‘You know what those Peter Strzok-Lisa Page texts were awful. There was a FISA abuse. There was that weird thing with Carter Page,” Tapper said. “I don’t know about that Alvin Bragg case where he, like, basically invented a felony.’ You don’t have to be a member of MAGA to look and say, ‘You know what? He does have some legitimate grievances.’”
Tapper’s unusually rare truthfulness didn’t sit well with the panelist Xochitl Hinojosa, who defended Garland and the bogus lawfare that was unleashed on Trump.
“Merrick Garland was a judge,” she said of the former attorney general, “He was a long career prosecutor. He did everything to follow the facts and the law and allow that to happen, and it was a special counsel matter where Merrick Garland wasn’t making the decisions.”
“What I’ll say even further, there is a [grand] jury in both Florida and D.C. that believed that there is enough evidence for Donald Trump to be indicted… on forty four counts, “she added, not bothering to mention the politicized nature of the legal proceedings against Trump and the concocted cases brought by ex-special counsel Jack Smith, a bait and switch from Tapper’s referring to the Russiagate scam.
“And this isn’t just some conspiracy theory,” the Democrat shill insisted. “There was no weaponization, the federal government believes that Donald Trump committed crimes.”
“I should note I was talking about the Russiagate investigation and the Alvin Bragg case, and you deftly switched it to the Jack Smith investigation,” Tapper responded, upending his colleague’s trickery.
X users weighed in on Tapper’s unusual defense of a man whom he obviously despises.
This highlights the slow but inevitable recognition that Trump was right about deep-seated corruption in federal agencies. Even hostile media figures like Jake Tapper are being forced to acknowledge it. However, the establishment (as represented by Hinojosa) continues to dismiss…

Tapper should know, he had 1st hand knowledge that Russia collusion was a hoax, he’s one of the few people who knew early on and still went ahead with the lies night after night for years.

When even Jake Tapper starts admitting the truth, you know the dam is breaking.

Sounds like Tapper is hoping Trump will go easy on him. Pathetic.

Jake is looking to write a book now about how unfair the media has been to Trump? He has no shame.

CNN tryna cozy up so they all don’t get thrown in JAIL.

Tapper recently came under criticism for his new book about the cover-up of disgraced former President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline, a cover-up that he was instrumental in assisting with until last summer’s CNN debate.
“I believe that CNN and MSDNC, who literally write 97.6 percent bad about me are political arms of the Democrat Party, and in my opinion, they’re really corrupt and they’re illegal. What they do is illegal,” Trump said at the DOJ.
