A Texas father has suffered the incomprehensible horror of watching his young son die in his twin brother’s arms after a senseless stabbing.
Carmelo Anthony, 17, has been arrested for the fatal stabbing of an honor high school student and football MVP, Austin Metcalf, during a school track and field meet.
Trending Politics co-owner Collin Rugg reported on the heart-wrenching story.
“There was a confrontation that was started when the suspect was told he was sitting in the wrong spot,” NBC 5 reported.

Metcalf reportedly didn’t know the suspect and was allegedly fatally stabbed for his innocuous comment, and died in his twin brother’s arms.
“They were twins, identical twins, and his brother was holding on to him, trying to make it stop bleeding, and he died in his brother’s arms,” the father, Jeff Metcalf, said.
“I rushed up there and I saw him on the gurney and I could tell… they said he wasn’t breathing. I could see all the blood, and I saw where the wound was, and I was very concerned, so I had to find his brother, and we rushed to the hospital.”

“Austin Metcalf had a 4.0 GPA and was the MVP of his football team,” Rugg reported and said he was getting ready for college.
In another heartbreaking twist, Austin Metcalf had posted just days ago: “Faith that god got me … and my work will pay off.”

Anger and empathy for the family flooded X:
A nation that shrugs at this kind of evil is a nation that’s already unraveling. This wasn’t over drugs. It wasn’t gang violence. It was over a *seat.* We’ve devalued life, stripped morality, and now we’re watching children pay the price.

We are failing our children. It’s not the guns. It’s the culture of hate being generated in America right now.
Harsher punishments need to be enforced to stop rampant crime like this.

If the races were reversed this would be national news, it’d be reported as a hate crime, and leftists would be marching already.
Austin Metcalf should be alive today.
His race was obviously a factor.
Karmelo Anthony deserves life in prison.

Meaning the white guy started all of this over a seat at a high school game.
