‘Squad’ Democrat whines that Trump’s Cabinet is too white

Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) has one of the most predictable complaints in political history about President Donald Trump’s Cabinet.

As if completely missing the lesson from the 2024 election, Pressley leaned back into identity politics to whine that Trump’s Cabinet “is on track to be one of the whitest cabinets in history.”

“The Trump Cabinet is on track to be one of the whitest Cabinets in modern history,” she said. “And when the government is given unchecked authority, civil rights are often the first to be sacrificed.”

To be clear, Trump was not elected to a second term based on how racially diverse he could make his Cabinet. American citizens struggling to make ends meet decided their future looked brighter under Trump than under his Democrat opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris. Critics argue further that 2024 was not only a desperate attempt to right America’s economic ship, but also stands as a referendum on the leftist agenda, including DEI, ESG, and other divisive policies being implemented across the country and in the federal government.

It doesn’t matter. It could be an all black cabinet and she would still have an issue with it. All the more reason why it was better for Trump to pick based upon merit and not based upon race.

He could’ve made every cabinet position a diversity hire, and this same person would then be saying he was pandering and calling all the African Americans “Uncle Toms”.
