Rubio boots ‘race-baiting’ South African ambassador from US

A zero tolerance policy had Secretary of State Marco Rubio giving one “race-baiting” ambassador the heave-ho from the United States with the label “PERSONA NON GRATA.”

With President Donald Trump’s return to the White House, his administration has been working to restore American dominance and a no-nonsense attitude toward discordant policies abroad. Included was action against South Africa whose ambassador to the United States was booted Friday after claiming the president was the head of a global white supremacist movement.

“South Africa’s Ambassador to the United States is no longer welcome in our great country,” Rubio posted bluntly to X. “Ebrahim Rasool is a race-baiting politician who hates America and hates @POTUS. We have nothing to discuss with him and so he is considered PERSONA NON GRATA.”

The secretary’s announcement came as South African Ambassador Ebrahim Rasool’s remarks during an address to the Mapungubwe Institute for Strategic Reflection (MISTRA) in Johannesburg included his claim, “What Donald Trump is launching is an assault on incumbency, those who are in power, by mobilizing a supremacism against the incumbency, at home, and — I think I’ve illustrated — abroad as well.”

“So in terms of that, the supremacist assault on incumbency, we see it in the domestic politics of the USA, the MAGA movement, the Make America Great Again movement, as a response not simply to a supremacist instinct,” Rasool continued, “but to very clear data that shows great demographic shifts in the USA in which the voting electorate in the USA is projected to become 48% white. And that the possibility of a majority of minorities is looming on the horizon.”

The now-former ambassador had also called out Vice President J.D. Vance and South African-born Elon Musk as he asserted positions taken abroad opposed to globalist regimes were meant to “project white victimhood as a dog whistle…”

In early February, Trump issued an executive order ending aid there over the “aggressive positions towards the United States and its allies, including accusing Israel, not Hamas, of genocide in the International Court of Justice, and reinvigorating its relations with Iran to develop commercial, military, and nuclear arrangements.”

The president also made it U.S. policy to “promote the resettlement of Afrikaner refugees escaping government-sponsored race-based discrimination, including racially discriminatory property confiscation,” as he decried the Expropriation Act 13 of 2024 that allowed for the seizure of the property of ethnic minorities “without compensation.”

Rubio had previously stated after slamming South Africa’s policies, “My job is to advance America’s national interests, not waste taxpayer money or coddle anti-Americanism.”

“As long as South Africa continues to support bad actors on the world stage and allows violent attacks on innocent disfavored minority farmers, the United States will stop aid and assistance to the country,” added the secretary as the latest move garnered considerable favor on X.
