Public Thinks Labour is Taxing and Spending Too Much by Two-to-One

YouGov has done a big round of pre-Spring Forecast polling from its trackers. Reeves does not come out of it well…

That’s the first time the threshold has been reached in five years and a huge shift from election day, when 35% of Brits said tax and spend was too low compared to only 28% who saw it as too high (28%). That doesn’t bode well considering the Treasury’s pitch-rolling for more taxes at the next Budget in October.
