Florida Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna raised concerns over the increasing threats against Elon Musk, suggesting that the rhetoric coming from Washington is fueling the hostility.
Speaking with Jesse Watters on Fox News, Luna pointed to a broader pattern of violence, linking it to the same dangerous rhetoric that has been directed at President Donald Trump.
Luna, a member of the House Oversight Committee, did not hold back in holding Washington accountable for the surge in politically motivated threats.
Elon Musk Called This Financial News ‘Terrifying’
“You know? I will say that they are largely responsible,” Luna said.
“You know, Jesse, I sit on House Oversight, and the rhetoric that we’re hearing, not just when the cameras are on, but even off. I will tell you that I’ve heard conversations on the House floor where people have said that they know that Elon Musk, hitting him, attacking him, is actually good for their polling numbers, and so they’re going to continue to do it now.”
She referenced Musk’s recent interview on The Joe Rogan Experience, where he acknowledged an increase in threats to his life.
Luna tied these threats to a broader pattern of political violence, pointing out that attacks on politicians have reached record levels in the last decade.

“This scary rhetoric that we’re hearing is also the same rhetoric that we heard about President Trump leading up into the 2024 election cycle,” she said.
“And remember, it sees crazy leftists are actually partaking in these violent attacks. And so it’s very concern, concerning. You know, attacks on politicians is up at the highest time it’s ever been in the last decade.”
Jesse Watters brought up the case of Ryan Ruth, the man arrested in connection with threats against Trump, noting the lack of media coverage.
“We’re hearing about Ryan Ruth, but not much. It just seems like very mysterious. Nothing on the butler guy, nothing much on Ruth, except that he had all these phones and he came back from Ukraine radicalized. Are we expecting to hear more at some point?” Watters asked.
Luna responded by calling out the mainstream media for downplaying the radicalization of left-wing extremists, particularly those who have attempted to assassinate Trump.
“You know, unless President Trump releases that report, which I am hearing he’s going to, I don’t think that the mainstream media will give it the coverage that it deserves, and they won’t, because they know that all of these assassins that are would-be assassins that tried to assassinate President Trump were radicalized leftists,” she stated.
“That’s not just a made-up talking point from Republicans. That’s a fact.”
Luna pointed to evidence suggesting that Ryan Ruth had traveled to Ukraine and had been radicalized before attempting to target Trump.
“We know the guy that was in court today actually had postings. He actually went to Ukraine. I mean, he was as radicalized as they get, and literally thought that President Trump was going to be the end of Ukraine,” she explained.
She contrasted Ruth’s beliefs with Trump’s actual stance on foreign policy, highlighting his efforts to negotiate peace.
“Meanwhile, President Trump is actively working to establish peace in Ukraine, and probably the only person in the world that could have done that,” she said.
Luna warned that without a strong pushback against the escalating violence, it will continue unchecked.
“What I will tell you is, what I’m finding on our end is that unless we put push back heavily on this, it’s just going to continue, and it’s unacceptable,” she concluded.
The rise in violent threats against @elonmusk is directly correlated to the unhinged rhetoric coming from Democrats.
It’s the exact reason why there was an assassination attempt on President Trump.

With rising threats against high-profile figures like Musk and Trump, Luna’s warning adds to growing concerns about politically motivated violence and the role of radical rhetoric in fueling these attacks.
