Our Two Main Parties Are Non-Christian but Only One Is Demonic – The American Spectator | USA News and PoliticsThe American Spectator

While neither the Republican Party nor the Democratic Party is specifically Christian, the Democratic Party alone is demonic. The Republican Party is far more responsive to Christian concerns, if for no other reason than Evangelical Christians and theologically conservative Catholics make up a much larger part of that party’s base than they do the Democratic Party.

The Democratic Party is not just non-Christian but demonic because its two greatest idols are the grave evils of LGBTQ immorality (especially the multi-threat of transgenderism) and abortion. These two idols are frontal attacks on the two most important elements in God’s creation of the world: his creation of humans in his image and likeness, and his creation of two (and only two) sexual counterparts, “male and female,” or “man” and “woman,” as the foundation of all sexual ethics. (RELATED: 3 Major New Developments in Trump’s Battle Against Transgender Tyranny)

The destruction of unborn human life and the dismantling of any bodily basis for human sexuality are not side issues for the Democratic Party but rather their raison d’etre, their primary reason for existence. These two idols are sea-change issues that require a radical realignment of society toward evil. (RELATED: America’s Abortion Blind Spot: How Liberals Convinced Americans to Ignore the Fetus)

The Democratic Party promotes and secures them through corollary evils: clamping down on free speech (including mandatory trans pronouns) and free exercise of religion, forcible indoctrination into LGBTQ immorality (including “gender identity’), lawfare against Christians, the appointment of hard-Left judges that treat the Constitution like silly putty, and threats to children (including chemical castration and abortion), women (including males in female private spaces, sports, shelters, prisons), the workplace, home (eliminating parental rights when they conflict with LGBTQ promotion), and even church and Christian education.

This is why faithful Christians cannot support the Democratic Party. It is a pact with the Devil. That doesn’t mean that Christians should not criticize and protest Republican deviations from what is good and right. But it does mean that Christians cannot empower a Party whose two greatest idols effect the destruction of God’s two greatest creation concerns.
