‘New Jersey Is in Play’ [WATCH]

New Jersey, long considered a Democratic stronghold, may be shifting into a more competitive political landscape, according to conservative activist Scott Presler.

During an appearance on The Ingraham Angle Monday, Presler, founder of Early Vote Action, declared, “Hear me loudly and clearly: New Jersey is in play.”

Presler, who has been actively working to register Republican voters, says the latest election results indicate a shift in the state’s political dynamic.

His grassroots organization, Early Vote Action, has been mobilizing voters under the slogan “Electing Republicans by registering Republicans.”

He believes the strategy is working and that New Jersey is becoming a more competitive state.

“At EarlyVoteAction.com, we are employing a 21-county strategy,” Presler said.

“We’re not only going to Essex and Camden, but we’re going to Sussex and Warren, and even red areas to drive up the turnout and make sure that every voice is heard.”

President Donald Trump saw improvements in his performance across several swing states in the last election, including Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Georgia.

However, some of his most significant gains came in traditionally Democratic states, such as New York and New Jersey.

In New Jersey, Trump improved his vote share by nearly five percentage points, marking the strongest showing for a Republican presidential candidate in the state in over 30 years.

Presler noted that the growing Republican momentum has caught the attention of party leadership, with more resources being allocated to New Jersey ahead of the 2025 gubernatorial race.

“We’re going to have more funding than ever, we’re going to have more staffers than ever. The RNC is on board,” he said.

“To my beautiful people at home, New Jersey is in play.”

New Jersey’s 2025 gubernatorial election is already shaping up to be highly competitive.

Current Democratic Governor Phil Murphy is term-limited, creating an open race with a crowded field of candidates vying for the seat.

In the 2021 gubernatorial election, Murphy defeated Republican Jack Ciattarelli by just three percentage points, a much closer margin than expected.

The last Republican to serve as New Jersey’s governor was Chris Christie, who held office from 2010 to 2018.

Presler and his organization are aiming to capitalize on this momentum to help Republicans regain the governor’s seat.

“I am here to reach as many people as I can to get them registered, and to empower them to vote on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025,” he said.

“I am so excited to be in the Garden State.”

With Trump’s rising support in traditionally Democratic states and the GOP investing more resources in New Jersey, Republicans see a rare opportunity to flip a deep-blue state.

The upcoming election will be a test of whether these gains can translate into electoral success.
