MSNBC’s platforming of racism continued as one guest asserted the lengths voters would go to rather than “to elect a black woman.”
“… we would rather destroy the republic …”

The network often referred to as “MSDNC” by President Donald Trump may have canceled the program of their chief race-baiter, Joy Reid, but the rhetoric itself continued to thrive on its airwaves. So it was on Monday when Princeton University professor and pundit Eddie Glaude contended that GOP voters had opted for a felon rather than now-former Vice President Kamala Harris because of her race and gender.
“We chose a felon who is more interested in loyalty, who is more interested in retribution, who is more interested in grift than in democracy, and we chose a felon because we didn’t want to elect a black woman,” asserted the African-American Studies professor on MSNBC’s “Deadline: White House.”
“So to read that, to actually explicate that, is to say we would rather destroy the republic than for that to have happened, and until we grapple with it, there’s no amount of protesting I could do, there’s no amount of resistance that could come into play to actually force 78 million people to grapple with what motivated them to put themselves in this position,” he went on.
Glaude’s assertion came amid a discussion on the deportation of El Salvador-born Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an alleged MS-13 gang member, after a judge ordered the administration to bring the foreign national back to the United States.
Wallace urged her guest to “Say more,” after he’d already stoked the fires of division by likening the current views of the American electorate to the divide prior to the Civil War.
“I don’t know what it’s going to take for the American people, for 78 million Americans, to deal with what motivated them to make the choice to elect this man again; to make the choice that will allow these people to undermine every fundamental assumption we have — that you can just be disappeared … I don’t know what it’s going to take for 78 million Americans to deal with what motivated them to make this choice,” said Glaude. “And the choice that they’ve made, we have to just be honest, is to literally throw the republic into the trash bin.”
“Now what was behind it. Because we have to grapple with it. It’s the snake — it’s the beast coiled up in the heart, the bosom of the country, as Frederick Douglass said,” referring to an Independence Day address from the abolitionist in 1852 addressing slavery. “And the fact that they are doubling down on this shows you what kind of human beings they actually are.”
While Wallace ultimately concluded about Gaude’s remarks, “You’re right in that 78 million people voted for someone who wants to shred the Constitution,” opinions on social media slammed the “unhinged, self-righteous rant blasting Trump supporters as racist.”

Color had nothing to do with it! Neither did gender. She simply had zero to offer this country. Simple facts.

Kamala was a horrible candidate for many reasons that we’ve discussed ad nauseam.
I wonder if ol Eddie here would vote for Winsome Sears?
