MLB Legend Ken Griffey Jr. Is A Credentialed Photographer At 2025 Masters

This is truly representative of the magic of the Masters.

Usually when an athlete (or anybody at that) retires, people will tell them to keep busy to make sure they don’t fall into that “retire then die” category. When it comes to MLB legend Ken Griffey Jr., he chose sports photography. Griffey hasn’t played in MLB since 2010, and then later in 2016, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame.

And it isn’t just a hobby for Griffey, he’s out here taking pictures of golf’s biggest stars at the 2025 Masters. (RELATED: Jose Luis Ballester Outright Admits That He Peed In Augusta National’s Rae’s Creek During 2025 Masters)

Per Golfweek, Griffey was featured as a credentialed photographer for the 2025 edition of the Honorary Starter ceremony, and he snapped some shots of Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson and Gary Player.

At this point, Griffey has been doing photography for years, also doing wildlife and nature.

This is pretty cool, as cool as what Phil Mickelson has been wearing the past two days … have y’all seen him at the Masters?

And another thing from the Masters that I found cool that happened Wednesday — this shot from Billy Horschel.

Now if only my Masters bets can be just as cool…
