Baseball celebrations just got elevated.
At the professional level in Major League Baseball, celebrations are still traditional for the most part, with nothing too out of the ordinary. That being said, college baseball cellys have seen quite the transformation over the years.
Originally, players shouted because they were pumped, pointed to the dugout and flexed their muscles. Things are changing at the college level, however, with players doing whatever they can think of in the name of being unique and having fun.
As for Michigan’s Mitch Voit, he might have just changed the game with an all-time celebration. (RELATED: Lakers’s Bronny James Epically Shuts Down Heckler With Perfect Three-Word Response)
Over the weekend, the Wolverines hosted the USC Trojans to start Big Ten tournament action. Following USC winning the first two contests of the three-game squareoff, the Wolverines got themselves a little revenge Sunday when they hammered the Trojans, 11-0, and avoided getting swept.
Voit was huge in Michigan’s win, going 3-for-3 at the plate while knocking in four runs. In the bottom of the second inning, Voit popped a triple and delivered one of the most epic celebrations you’ll ever see.
After Voit slid into third base, he remained on his knees. He then proceeded to drop his face to the baseline, seemingly “snorting” up the white powder like it was pure cocaine (LMAO).
You can watch the video of Voit’s celebration here.

Don’t be shocked if this sets off a trend, ladies and gentlemen.
