Rep. Maxine Waters is giving more credence to her “Mad Max” nickname with her recent caught-on-camera behavior.
The left’s hatred of federal accountability, and thus the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), was put on full display when Waters attempted to force her way into the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) building to deliver an anti-DOGE letter to Secretary Scott Turner. Of course, this didn’t turn out exactly as she planned and resulted in a rather hilarious video published to X for our viewing pleasure.
Watch:
Just witnessed Maxine Waters try to demand her way into hand delivering an anti-DOGE letter to HUD’s @SecretaryTurner while he was in a meeting
The HUD chief of staff was quite nice and offered to have her watch a video of Trump’s accomplishments in the lobby@BreitbartNews pic.twitter.com/4uuB0hLDTy

To her credit, Waters made it farther into the building than her fellow radical Democrat Rep. Rashida Tlaib who was filmed arguing with uniformed Homeland Security officers at the entrance. A follow-up video captured Tlaib unleashing her wrath on one of the employees after she and the crowd behind her were denied entry.
X users couldn’t hold back their mockery:
When Mrs. Waters said she’d stay all night I wish he would have fetched her a cot and blankets and honored her request.

I thought that disrupting official government business with the intent to harrass and intimidate to change an outcome was a crime ?
Have them removed and trespass those outside causing disturbance and interpretation of daily government business.— Brian Dougherty (@BrianDough45) March 4, 2025
Why would our HUD @SecretaryTurner give a about an anti-DOGE letter? lol I guess everyone else stopped talking to her. Talib is so angry all the time, like Maxine, their faces have stuck that way!

Trump is breaking Washington DC, it’s glorious!

It was a trick for her to get a photo op of her and her supporters screaming at the guy.
Ask her staff if she allows them to let people “just deliver a letter” with a camera crew in tow.— Jswarens (@jeff_swarens) March 4, 2025
Why is she doing this on her work hours? This is not representing people, this is grandstanding.
