Maine Lawmakers Send Letter To President Trump That Condemns Gov. Janet Mills Over Biological Males In Female Sports

Janet Mills has to be counting her days at this point…

A total of 14 Maine state senators sent over a letter Tuesday to President Donald Trump, which condemns Gov. Janet Mills for her nonsense when it comes to biological males in female sports.

Obtained by Fox News Digital, the letter praises the Trump administration for how they’ve handled what’s been going on in the Pine Tree State. Just recently, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) slapped a freeze on the state’s funding, and the Department of Justice has received a referral about the continuation of transgender athletes being in female sports.

A lawsuit was filed Monday by Maine officials challenging the USDA over their state’s funding freeze. (RELATED: Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton Now Investigating USA Fencing After Woman Refuses To Take On Trans Opponent)

The senators from Maine also make the claim that the state’s policies that allow the inclusion of transgenders are in violation of not just Title IX, but also the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

“Dear Mr. President, As you know, the working people of Maine agree with your commonsense approach to protect women’s sports and spaces. We applaud your administration’s efforts to bring Maine into compliance with not only the protections for women and girls guaranteed under the nation’s landmark Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972, but what has also been identified as violations of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974,” reads the letter.

And honestly, when we’re on the conversation of Maine, it gets a lot worse than just sports…

Needless to say, major change in Maine is quite overdue.
