Jose Luis Ballester Outright Admits That He Peed In Augusta National’s Rae’s Creek During 2025 Masters

Seriously…?

Jose Luis Ballester punched himself a ticket into the Masters after he won the 2024 U.S. Amateur, but he wasn’t nothing to talk about considering his first round score was a dismal 76. With that being said, the Spaniard is still making headlines at Augusta National after what he did on the legendary Par 5 13th hole.

During Thursday’s action, Ballester was in a group that featured Justin Thomas and the top-ranked player in the world in Scottie Scheffler. Well, while he was heading towards the 13th green, he felt the urge to pee. Thomas was being patient with his second shot and was taking a while after he airmailed the green and his ball ended up in the azalea bushes. With his bladder filling up with each passing minute, Ballester ended up in quite the situation. (RELATED: Justin Thomas Unleashes Absolute Vulgarity After Frustrating Start To The Masters)

What most golfers do is go to one of the hidden bathrooms (and there’s a ton of them) at Augusta National, or simply just hold it, but Ballester chose another path. He literally unzipped his pants right in the middle of Masters action and peed right into Rae’s Creek, and if you’re not familiar with Rae’s Creek, it’s the most legendary creek in all of golf. The creek plays guard to the fronts of each the 12th and 13th hole.

Jack Milko of SB Nation was one of the people who spotted Ballester peeing in Rae’s Creek.

But don’t take it from me, Ballester straight up admitted that he did it.

“Didn’t really know where to go, and since JT had an issue on the green, I’m like, I’m just going to sneak here in the river and probably people would not see me that much, and then they clapped for me,” said Ballester.

Absolutely disrespectful to the green jacket.
