‘I wanted to be a little different’

President Donald J. Trump took a swipe at his senile predecessor after he took his annual physical that included acing a cognitive test, something that Joe Biden refused to do.

During Friday remarks to reporters onboard Air Force One after he completed the exam at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, the leader of the free world jabbed the mentally misfiring octogenarian whom he had previously challenged to submit to the test when Biden was still in office.

“I wanted to be a little different than Biden, I took a cognitive test,” Trump said, adding, “I don’t know what to tell you other than I got every answer right.”

Trump spent around five hours at the Bethesda, Maryland facility before boarding the presidential plane for a weekend trip to Florida, telling members of the media that he felt great and that everything looks good.

“I was there for a long time…I think I did well,” the 78-year-old POTUS said, adding that he thinks that the results will be released on Sunday. Trump also said he felt he was in “very good shape” with a “good heart, good soul, very good soul.”

Last year, as public concern mounted over Biden’s mental fitness, the White House insisted he didn’t “need a cognitive test” even as it became increasingly evident that his capabilities were seriously diminished and were getting worse as he was poised to run for reelection.

“He is sharp! He is on top of things!” Biden’s spokesperson, Karine Jean-Pierre, said in February 2024 when asked by a reporter if her boss would submit to cognitive testing.

“That is not my assessment, that is the assessment of the president’s doctor, that is also the assessment of his neurologist,” Jean-Pierre also said, adding, “He passes a cognitive test every day.”

Her remarks came after questions about Biden’s mental capabilities intensified over then-special counsel Robert Hur’s devastating conclusions that he couldn’t be changed over the mishandling of classified documents because a sympathetic jury would likely find him to be too senile to convict.

“Based on our direct interactions with and observations of him, he is someone from whom many jurors will want to identify reasonable doubt,” Hur wrote in the report. “It would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him—by then a former president well into his eighties—of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness.”

Despite years of covering up Biden’s mental deterioration, it was no longer possible after his disastrous CNN debate performance against Trump last June, when a national television audience saw that the critics were right, the emperor had no clothes.

Weeks later, Biden was toppled in a coup orchestrated by Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama and replaced with ditzy veep Kamala Harris, who went on to lose the election by a landslide.

“I have never felt better, but nevertheless, these things must be done!” Trump wrote on Truth Social earlier in the week.
