Here’s How Stephen A. Smith Would Do In Hypothetical 2028 Election Against Vice President JD Vance

I need to see Stephen A. on a presidential ticket… The comedy. (LMAO)

When it comes to the idea of being in the White House as the leader of the free world, Stephen A. Smith claims that he’s no longer dismissive of it. He might actually run for president in 2028. And as laughable as that might sound, he’s serious.

Kalshi, a gambling website, is currently giving Smith a 5% chance of being the Democratic Party’s nominee, which isn’t bad for a sports journalist who’s just now starting to get into politics. I mean, hell, the guy is fresh off a beef with LeBron James and still has 5%, that’s not too shabby.

And think about it like this… His competition is weak in the Democratic Party. People like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Gavin Newsom, Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, Wes Moore and Josh Shapiro, they’re straight up yawn territory when you compare them to Smith, and even Democrats don’t trust their own establishment at the moment. Nobody is for the working people. (RELATED: Los Angeles Dodgers Officially Visit President Trump At White House After World Series Title)

And that’s why I could see that 5% steadily increase as Smith gets more and more serious about politics.

With that being said though, Smith is doing absolutely terrible when you talk about general election polling. I mean, yeah, it could get better as we go along, but right now, he would get his a** whooped against the Republicans.

In a hypothetical 2028 election matchup, data from Overton has Smith getting pummeled by Vice President JD Vance by a whopping nine points. To compare numbers, Vance is tied up at 39-39 with Harris in their hypothetical contest.

I need to see this just for the comedy element. The laughter would be incredible.
