The photos, which have since been removed, reportedly included a message that Bart would not turn himself in, and that authorities would “have to find him first” if he was going to be taken to jail.

The Sheriff’s Office said Bart had an active warrant tied to a domestic-related assault case. Officials did not release further details about the incident that led to the warrant but confirmed it was domestic in nature.
“We take all warrants and the law very seriously at the Sheriff’s Office,” Chief Deputy Anthony Buckner said in a public statement posted to the department’s Facebook and X pages.

“Evading Deputies is not a game — ignoring the law has serious consequences,” Buckner added.

Deputies say they were able to locate Bart following his social media activity. He was arrested without incident and booked into the Shelby County Jail.
The Sheriff’s Office did not confirm how long Bart had been wanted or provide the exact location where he was apprehended.

The arrest occurred shortly after the online posts were made public, suggesting the taunt helped law enforcement track his whereabouts.

Authorities reiterated their warning that using social media to mock or challenge law enforcement is not taken lightly, especially when active warrants are involved.
Bart remains in custody at the Shelby County Jail pending further legal proceedings.
