A cooler started the fire. There is no evidence to show trafficked children were being held at Disney’s Epcot.

Fact Check:

In March, a fire emerged at Walt Disney World’s Epcot theme park. A post made on X claims vigilantes claimed responsibility for the fire and claimed trafficked children were being held captive at the fire’s location.

The caption reads, “Red Hats (vigilantes) claim responsibility for burning up part of Disney Epcot Center where they claim abducted & trafficked children were being held prisoner. This country is is getting tired of no one being arrested for the worst crimes in our history.”

There is no evidence to support the claim that traffickers held children captive where the fire started. There is also no evidence to show vigilantes claimed responsibility for the theme park’s fire.
