Ex NY Times mean-girl writer Taylor Lorenz disappointed that Joe Biden didn’t die on Saturday

Taylor Lorenz, former New York Times writer, expressed her disappointment over the false reporting of former President Joe Biden’s death.

On Saturday, Lorenz retweeted an X user who posted “RIP Joe Biden 1942-2025” despite the former president still being very much alive. In keeping with her fire-starter reputation, she had quite the controversial take.

Look:

“This tweet got my hopes up,” Lorenz said of the post that called the former president “a racist f**king monster” who “will not be missed.” The ex-NYT writer who now works for Medhi Hasan’s website Zeteo has held very strong feelings about Biden’s attitude and policies surrounding the war in Gaza.

While she turned off the replies to her post, people still had quite a bit to say:
