New York City Mayor Eric Adams will run for reelection as an independent and after announcing that he was ditching the Democratic Party, the mayor also declared that TDS is “real.”
Though he is running as an independent, Adams is still a member of the Democratic Party — he was registered as a Republican in 1997 before switching to the Democratic Party in 2001.
“And the thing is, I keep saying this and people don’t like it, they get upset, you know — the Trump derangement syndrome is real,” Adams said during an appearance on Andrew Schulz’s podcast.
“You can hate someone so much that even if they do something right … you can like or dislike Elon, but you don’t have any right blowing up someone’s Tesla,” he added.

The later remark comes in response to the stochastic terrorism being directed at Tesla owners in protest of DOGE boss Elon Musk rooting out billions of dollars in government waste and fraud.
Adams went on to point out the hypocrisy on the left, where they complain about DOGE eliminating people’s jobs while at the same time wanting to shut down Tesla, which would also result in people losing their jobs.
Earlier this week, Adams encouraged “every New Yorker” to read a book by FBI Director Kash Patel, Government Gangsters: The Deep State, the Truth, and the Battle for Our Democracy. According to the mayor, the book explains why he was targeted for indictment.

“A sinister cabal of corrupt law enforcement personnel, intelligence agents, and military officials at the highest levels of government plotted to overthrow a president. Even after they failed, they continue to secretly pull the levers of power without any accountability to the American people,” reads the Amazon description of Patel’s book.
President Trump is quoted on the cover of the book: “A brilliant roadmap highlighting every corrupt actor, to ultimately return our agencies and departments to work for the American People…we will use this blueprint to help us take back the White House and remove these Gangsters from all of Government!”
Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
When the Mayor of NYC starts recommending Kash Patel books, you know the Matrix glitched.

Eric Adams needs to just put on the MAGA hat and finish his transition to the right

Once Adams expressed his disapproval of the illegal invasion, he had a bullseye on his back from the Biden regime.

TDS is definitely real. People with it just hear Trump and they crash out!

Liberals can’t handle the truth: TDS is real and dangerous!

This is so true. The people attacking Tesla dealerships do not seem to recognize that there are real people who work in those dealerships and depend on that income.
