It doesn’t get much better than this!
When it comes to consolation prizes, the Augusta National Women’s Amateur has one of the top ones in all of sports. Sure, to miss the 36-hole cut is a disappointment, but all competitors had the chance to participate in a practice round Friday at the legendary Augusta National.
But that’s not all, players have the opportunity following their round to land a tee time to chop it up on the Par-3 Course to end things. And that’s exactly what a lot of golfers did. (RELATED: President Trump Is Still Aiming To Unite PGA, LIV)
I’m willing to guarantee that nobody was happier about it than Duke golfer Andie Smith. Deciding to stay and play nine more holes, Smith ended up hitting an epic hole-in-one, and not just that, but it was caught on video in a grade-A angle.
It’s an absolutely beautiful sight to witness.

We’re finally here! The week of The Masters! And what a great way to start things off with this epic hole-in-one!
Oh man, it’s only Monday, but I can already feel that green jacket vibe…
On Sunday afternoon, a quiet transformation takes place. Players begin to arrive and Augusta National makes final preparations for Masters week. #themasters

I wanna golf so bad with all of these chills I’m getting — I’ll get that out of my system this summer in South Florida.
