DNC, Schumer, Jeffries sue Trump over preventing illegals from voting

The Democrat Party has sued President Donald Trump for daring to try to put a stop to blatant election fraud.

Last week, the president signed an executive order, one: requiring voters to prove their citizenship, two: preventing states from counting mail-in ballots that are received AFTER Election Day, and three: threatening to defund states that refuse to comply.

In response, the Democrat National Committee, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer have filed suit with the help of disgraced attorney Marc Elias.

“Trump’s directive, which for the first time would require proof of citizenship to register to vote and ban the counting of lawful mail-in ballots that arrive after Election Day, threatens to disenfranchise voters and upend an election system that has ‘stood the test of time,” the lawsuit reads.

“The Executive Order seeks to impose radical changes on how Americans register to vote, cast a ballot, and participate in our democracy — all of which threaten to disenfranchise lawful voters and none of which is legal,” the lawsuit continues.

The disenfranchisement claim is based on the belief that millions of Americans don’t have proof of citizenship readily available.

“The executive order, as it stands now, could widely disenfranchise voters. About 21.3 million people do not have proof of citizenship readily available,” the New York Times claimed, citing data from the far-left Brennan Center for Justice.

The suit even mentions the Founding Fathers, though it refers to them as the “Framers.”

“The Framers of our federal Constitution foresaw that self-interested and self-aggrandizing leaders might seek to corrupt our democratic system of government to expand and preserve their own power,” it reads.

Jeffries and Schumer, meanwhile, released a statement proclaiming that Trump’s EO is somehow unconstitutional.

“This executive order is an unconstitutional power grab from Donald Trump that attacks vote by mail, gives DOGE sensitive personal information, and makes it harder for states to run their own free and fair elections,” they said.

“Donald Trump and DOGE are doing this as an attempt to rationalize their repeatedly debunked conspiracy theories and set the groundwork to throw out legal votes and ignore election outcomes they do not like,” they added.

But critics say all this noise from the Democrats is bull, and they are the only ones doing something unconstitutional.

The White House agrees.

“The Democrats continue to show their disdain for the Constitution and it continues to show in their insane objections to the President’s commonsense executive actions to require proof of U.S. citizenship in an effort to protect the integrity of American elections,” White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary Harrison Fields said in a statement to The Hill.

“The Trump administration is standing up for free, fair, and honest elections, and asking this basic question is essential to our Constitutional Republic,” he added.
