Dems see RED when Fetterman agrees to help Republican colleague promote his book

The party that once touted peace and love, but now sets electric cars on fire and mocks disabled people, is naturally upset over a rare show of bipartisanship.

Pennsylvania Democrat John Fetterman is planning to show support during a public book tour event with Republican Penn. Senator Dave McCormick this Saturday, and the backlash has already begun.

The McCormicks new book “Who Believed In You?” is about mentorship, according to an Eventbrite, Fox News reported.

The book tour comes as Republican townhalls across the nation have erupted in chaos, with many, including President Trump, suspecting the protesters are paid bad actors.

This event could suffer the same fate with activist groups “Mondays Without McCormick Pittsburgh” along with “Indivisible Pittsburgh,” already planning a protest.

The group is drumming up support on Facebook, accusing the senators of being “missing.”

The event was originally going to be held at the City Winery.

“Instead of holding town halls, they are hawking a book at a paid event at City Winery. Join us to tell them NO! NO to dismantling the Department of Education. NO to defunding SNAP and programs that feed our kids. NO to cuts to NIH which supports research for our kids and ALL of us. And NO to attacks on our democracy – the legacy we will leave our kids,” the Facebook protest invite reads.

The location of the book tour event has since been changed to an “undisclosed location.”

“Our senators appear to have caught wind of the fact that their constituents want to be heard. And instead of HOLDING TOWN HALLS, they have moved their paid book event (the subject of this protest) to an UNDISCLOSED LOCATION. Please keep reading and stay tuned for a NEW LOCATION,” the Facebook page reads.

The protesters, however, are vowing to find them, wherever they turn up.

Fetterman’s Democrat primary contender from 2022, Conor Lamb, also took a swipe at the sitting senator.

“That’s John Fetterman’s job. He should be not only speaking out, he should be listening to people, and instead, it sounds like he’s going to be listening to Dave McCormick and cheering on Dave McCormick’s book signing,” Lamb said.

It’s been months since Fetterman has hosted a public event, according to Fox, but the Dem senator has been irking his cohorts with outspoken support of Israel.

“He’s been saying the same thing about Democrats now for six months, we get it,” Lamb told the Inquirer, according to Fox. “Democrats know we have some issues, but he has a job to do… I know that trashing the Democratic Party gets him a lot of attention, but he wasn’t put in office to be a political commentator. He was sent to the office to get results.”

As BizPac Review reported last month, a North Carolina Republican town hall erupted in shouts and finger-pointing after NRCC leadership urged House Republicans to halt the public events.
