Former Washington Post writer Taylor Lorenz is back, and she’s defending the fangirls of the man who allegedly killed UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
During an interview with CNN, Lorenz mocked the “millionaire media pundits” who are aghast at the support Luigi Mangione, Thompson’s alleged killer” has received. She went on to claim there’s a “disconnect” between what the media reports and how Americans truly feel, which has fueled growth in her own audience.

You know who would disagree with the absurd assertion from Taylor Lorenz that Luigi Mangione is a “morally good man”?

“It’s hilarious to see these millionaire media pundits on TV clutching their pearls about someone stanning a murderer when this is the United States of America — as if we don’t lionize criminals,” she said dismissively. “As if we don’t stan murderers of all sorts. We give them Netflix shows.”
The support of Mangione includes large numbers of females, many of whom find him “revolutionary.”
“You’re gonna see women especially that feel like, ‘oh my God, here’s this man who’s a revolutionary, who’s famous, who’s handsome, who’s young, who’s smart, he’s a person that seems like this morally good man,’ which is hard to find,” Lorenz noted of the suspected murderer.
“Yeah, I just realized women will literally date an assassin before they swipe right on me. That’s where we’re at,” quipped Donie O’Sullivan, CNN’s MisinfoNation host.
X users were disgusted by Lorenz’s glib take on the situation:
Taylor Lorenz’s opinion of “morally good” means absolutely nothing since she’s a horrible person herself.

I’m calling for a complete halt to all women named Taylor until we can figure out what the hell is going on.

Why does this person even have a platform to influence anyone?

Thankfully her idea of a “morally good man” is hard to find.

Maybe this is the reason she was fired from the Post?
