A vehicle chase in Long Beach ended with multiple crashed cars and the suspect walking away from the chaos he caused as if he were a mere bystander.
The bizarre and dangerous series of events was broadcast by a news helicopter following the action as the man in the allegedly stolen work truck fled from authorities. The chase, which started in Los Angeles and ended in front of a Long Beach Sherwin Williams paint store, resulted in an unknown number of damaged vehicles and the arrest of the suspect.

According to ABC7, the driver’s “erratic” behavior included “clipping several vehicles as he occasionally topped 100 mph.”
“The suspect later wound his way through streets of Whittier, driving onto center medians and sideswiping several more vehicles as he wove wildly through traffic. He occasionally drove on the shoulder of a crowded roadway, striking uncounted additional vehicles,” the outlet reported.
“As he made his way into Long Beach, the driver became even more erratic, speeding wildly on a crowded thoroughfare, leaving multiple vehicles with minor damage. But with traffic stopped at one intersection, the suspect plowed the work truck into the rear of at least three vehicles, pushing his way through the wreckage,” they added.
The suspect was able to walk a couple of blocks away from the crash but was eventually found, tackled and taken into custody by officers.
Social media users had a field day with the shocking footage, with many comparing the mayhem to the popular video game Grand Theft Auto:
