Commissioner Jay Monahan Says President Trump Has Been Playing ‘Facilitator’ Role In PGA-LIV Negotiations

President Trump can do it all!

Jay Monahan, the commissioner of the PGA Tour, stated Tuesday at TPC Sawgrass that President Donald J. Trump has played “the facilitator” in the ongoing negotiations between the PGA and LIV Golf.

When June 6 gets here, it’ll be two years since the announcement was made that the PGA and LIV were speaking about some kind of agreement to merge. With that being said, however, talks have been paused for a while now.

But then President Trump took over the White House. (RELATED: Phil Mickelson Shows His Support For Elon Musk And His Unbelievable Moves)

In February, the PGA gave credit to Trump for “[getting] involved for the good of the game,” and there appears to have been some progression since he stepped into the picture.

“Those talks are real. They’re substantial, and they’re being driven at the top levels of both organizations. Those talks have been significantly bolstered by President Trump’s willingness to serve as the facilitator,” Monahan stated Tuesday.

“President Trump is a lifelong golf fan. He believes strongly in the game’s power and potential, and he has been exceedingly generous in his time and influence to help bring a deal together. He wants to see the game reunified. We want to see the game reunified, and his involvement has made the prospect of reunification very real.”

My question … what can President Trump not do?
