Calls to Violence on Full Display for NYC ‘Tesla Takedown’ Protest [WATCH]

Left-wing activists staged protests across the United States on Saturday, with one of the largest demonstrations taking place in New York City outside a Tesla showroom.

The protests, part of a broader movement dubbed the “Tesla Takedown,” saw demonstrators express their anger at both Tesla and its CEO, Elon Musk.

In New York, the protesters marched toward the Tesla showroom, carrying a variety of signs, many of which appeared recycled from previous left-wing protests.

Signs with slogans like “Death by 1000 Musk Cuts” stood out among the crowd, signaling the group’s disdain for Musk’s influence on both the electric vehicle market and broader political discourse.

The protesters, seemingly unable to come up with fresh chants, repeated familiar left-wing slogans such as “This is what democracy looks like” and “Who’s got to go? Musk’s got to go!”

These chants, often heard at protests aimed at various political targets, reflected the group’s longstanding grievances, but there was little new material in their messaging.

While the protestors continued to rally against Musk and Tesla, they failed to acknowledge that democracy—through the voice of the people—spoke clearly in the 2024 election.

Many voters, frustrated with government waste and fraud, chose President Donald Trump and his allies, including Musk, to help address these issues.

Yet the leftists in attendance seemed to ignore this democratic process entirely.

As the protestors reached the Tesla location, they were met with a heavy police presence.

The officers were stationed to protect the building from any potential damage, as the demonstrators carried increasingly hostile signs.

One placard read “Burn a Tesla, Save Democracy,” with others featuring similar sentiments, including accusations that Tesla owners were driving “Swasticars,” which could be interpreted as an incitement to violence.

This rhetoric raised concerns about the potential for harm, leading some to question whether the FBI should investigate these actions as domestic terrorism.

Despite their claims to be “saving democracy,” the protesters’ actions did nothing to advance the cause they claimed to support.

Burning a Tesla, as suggested on some of the signs, does not protect democracy.

In fact, it is a criminal act that would likely lead to serious charges.

The idea that damaging property would somehow benefit the public is not only misguided but also reflects a deep misunderstanding of how democratic systems function.

Interestingly, many of these same activists, who once championed electric vehicles as part of their environmental agenda, now seem to have turned against them.

In the past, owning a Tesla was often seen as a way to virtue signal, demonstrating one’s commitment to “saving the planet.”

However, the protesters seem to have forgotten that damaging a Tesla only results in costly repairs, which ironically could lead to more revenue for the company they’re protesting against.

The people who own these vehicles, some of whom are likely Democrats themselves, will be left to bear the financial burden of repairing their cars after the attacks.

Another troubling sign that emerged at the protest featured a message that read “Elon keeps asking for 5 bullet points” with a heart and the name “Luigi.”

This reference was allegedly connected to Luigi, the man accused of killing a healthcare CEO in Manhattan.

The disturbing nature of this sign, combined with chants to “tax the rich” and the group’s decision to block traffic by lying down in the street, raised further concerns about the tone and direction of the protest.

Earlier reports indicated that several Democratic politicians were expected to attend the protest, adding fuel to the idea that the event was being used for political purposes.

However, as of now, there have been no reports confirming their attendance at the event, leaving many to question whether the protests were a true reflection of public sentiment or just another orchestrated demonstration by left-wing groups.

While the “Tesla Takedown” protests may have gained some attention, they appear to have failed to resonate with the broader public.

The actions of the protesters only seem to reflect their ongoing frustration with the success of figures like Elon Musk and the broader conservative movement, rather than any genuine concern for the issues they claim to care about.
