Dan Bongino, the FBI’s new deputy director, announced that he “paid a visit” to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
The former Secret Service agent and staunch defender of the Second Amendment shared photos of himself at the bureau on Thursday as he met with staff and discussed the administration’s priorities.
“It’s a new era — one where Americans will be kept safe and their Constitutional rights will be protected,” Bongino posted on X.

The White House shared Bongino’s post later Thursday, quoting the Second Amendment Right to Bear Arms: “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.”
“What a difference a new President can make!” the White House posted on Friday.

“The days of ATF targeting law-abiding gun owners are over,” the National Rifle Association posted after FBI Director Kash Patel was tapped to run the ATF.
“For far too long, ATF has focused on how it can manipulate federal statutes to restrict the rights of law-abiding Americans. We look forward to working with Acting Director Patel to protect and expand Second Amendment freedoms,” the NRA said last month.
Social media users applauded the new era and protection of Americans’ Constitutional rights.
Glad to see it! Shall NOT Be Infringed!
