AOC Reaches New Levels Of Hypocrisy By Flying Too Close To The Sun

Flight the oligarchy!

Nothing screams populist class warrior than a left-wing politician riding first class to a “Fighting Oligarchy” rally with the Burlington muppet, Bernie Sanders — it’s exactly the kind of hypocritical stunt you wouldn’t put past someone like Democratic New York Rep. According to the New York Post, Ocasio-Cortez flew first class on a flight from JFK to Las Vegas on March 19 to speak at rallies in North Vegas and the Arizona State University in Tempe alongside Independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders. The Post obtained a photograph of AOC getting nice and situated in a first-class cabin on JetBlue flight 511. Tickets for her seat on that particular flight range upward of $1,100, the outlet reported.

The visit was part of Senator Bernie Sanders’ “Fight Oligarchy” tour in battleground states.

At one of the rallies on March 20, AOC decried elected officials who are not doing enough to serve the needs of the American working class, calling on voters to “throw [the] bums outs,” whether they are Democrat or Republican.

“We, as a community, must choose and vote for Democrats and elected officials who know how to stand for the working class,” the congresswoman said. “We’re gonna throw these bums out and fight for the nation we deserve. This isn’t just about Republicans. We need a Democratic Party that fights harder for us, too.”

Although this isn’t the first time AOC ditched her much-beloved peons in economy, there is a certainly more delicious irony in her flying luxury to a political rally to roast other politicians for caring too much about the luxuries of their office and not their own constituents. It’s right on brand for AOC, and maybe she should take a hard look in the mirror before she books her next flight.
