Michigan motel staffers were recently stunned after they found an alligator that was left behind by a guest that stayed there.
Wally, who is three feet long, was located Friday in Cheboygan’s Pine River Motel not much longer after exotic animal collectors checked out.
“We just went in to clean the room and, when my nephew looked under the bed, Wally was there,” said the manager of the motel, Gary, to the Detroit Free Press. (RELATED: Morons Harass Gargantuan Bear In Scene That Could’ve Turned Into Utter Disaster)
“He was a real friendly gator, so I didn’t feel real scared. He let the police officers hold him and all that, I mean, it was a real friendly alligator.”
The gator‘s owner, who goes around schools with exotic animals, had made the assumption that Wally had escaped and went into the wild, according to the motel’s manager.
Wally and his owner were reunited Friday. It’s not currently known if police filed any charges.

I’ve got an event that I’m going to over the weekend, and being out of town, I’ll be staying in a hotel. I can see it now: As soon as I put the card key into the door, I’m going to think about this alligator story.
At least my Daily Caller readers will be with me in spirit. *happy tear*
