I get golf is hard … but you’re still a professional … this is the best you could do?
Don’t get me wrong, I could definitely improve my game on the course, but PGA player Aldrich Potgieter shouldn’t even have what you’re about to see on his resume being a professional.
And don’t get me wrong, I’m not gonna flame the guy too much, because I’m not gonna lie, it strokes my own ego when it comes to my golf game to see a pro flub up like this. In other words, it makes me feel better about my own skills. (LMAO)
Potgieter qualified for the Arnold Palmer Invitational after he finished in second at the 2025 Mexico Open, which came down to a playoff where he lost against Brian Campbell. (RELATED: ‘Low Class Jerk Move’: Phil Mickelson Blasts Fred Couples Over Strange Situation Featuring Brooks Koepka)
Well, my man came back down to reality quickly during a tee shot on Bay Hill Golf Course’s par-5 sixth hole. During the shot, he tried to get it over the water in an attempt for an opportunity to get an eagle, but those plans didn’t go so well.
Rather, he hit the shot right into the water, and it barely went anywhere at that. It was easily one of the worst shots of his career, if not the worst. It was that bad.

Fortune favors the accurate on No. 6 at Bay Hill.
In 2024, there were 26 water balls. But find the fairway and eagle is in play.

That sixth hole is something vicious though … I can’t even lie.
