Actress Sofía Vergara is once again in the spotlight after sharing a revealing photo on social media to promote her skincare brand ahead of the summer season.
As Fox News reported, the 52-year-old “Modern Family” star posted an image of herself sunbathing poolside wearing only black bikini bottoms, teasing the upcoming summer while highlighting her product line.
“Ya casi llega el verano! protégete con @toty,” she wrote in the Instagram caption, which translates to, “Summertime is almost here! protect yourself with @toty.”

The Colombian-born actress used the photo to draw attention to Toty, her skincare brand launched in 2023. The name of the brand comes from Vergara’s childhood nickname.

On her Instagram Stories, she continued the promotion with a message that read, “Protección todo el verano,” or “protection all summer.”
Vergara told People magazine that her vision for Toty includes creating beauty products that combine sun protection and daily use.
“I want to create a brand that has it all. Lips, body makeup that has sun protection, that doesn’t get on your clothes, and that you can put on your chest every day to even out. The dream is big, but we have to start little by little.”
She credited her Latin upbringing for her interest in beauty, saying it’s always been a priority. “I think because I’m Latin, we always grow up thinking about looking good, doing your hair, your makeup. It’s something that makes you feel good,” Vergara said.
Vergara also discussed her evolving beauty habits and confidence with age. “I love beauty products. I love makeup. I love clothes,” she said.
“And I think now that I’m older, it’s great because you know exactly what you like, what looks good on you, what doesn’t look good on you. I don’t do what is in fashion. I just do what feels good, makes me feel confident and beautiful.”
Back in March, she posted another bikini image. Saying “#tbt Miami! ”
When asked about plastic surgery, Vergara told Allure that while she hasn’t undergone procedures yet, she’s open to the idea in the future.
“I feel like I’m going to do every plastic surgery that I can do when I’m ready,” she said. “I wish I had more downtime; I would’ve done stuff already. [But] because I’m in front of the camera, it’s not like I can do something and then sit in my house recuperating for weeks.”
Vergara has used Botox for years, primarily on her neck and around her eyes, but says she’s avoided facial fillers.
“I feel filler does good when you’re really young and you want a little bit more cheeks or to plump your lips a little bit,” she said. “At my age, I feel it’s not going to make you look younger. It is going to make you look more done.”
A vocal advocate for sunscreen, Vergara said she’s been “religious” about applying it after reading about the dangers of sun exposure. “If you’re tanning your face, there’s nothing in the world that you put on at night that is going to give you good skin,” she said.
