Washington State’s Vote To Ban Men In Women’s Sports Fails By Just One Heartbreaking Tally

Damn… We almost had ’em!

A proposal to ban transgender (biological male) athletes from participating in female sports in Washington State failed by just one heartbreaking vote. The voting was done by the state’s youth sports governing body. (RELATED: Joe Biden Was Against Males In Female Sports Behind The Scenes: REPORT)

The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) made the announcement Monday that the proposal, which was an advisory amendment since nixing men in women’s sports conflicts with current state law, saw 31 votes in support of it and 22 against it. The measure actually pulled in most of the votes, however, it was just a single vote shy of getting to the 60% threshold that it needed in order to pass.

“Amendment No. 7 received 31 votes in favor and 22 against passing, just one vote shy of being approved. A second amendment, No. 8, would have created a separate ‘open’ division for transgender athletes in Washington state. It also would restrict both boys’ and girls’ sports to only allowing athletes who were assigned that sex at birth. Amendment No. 8 was much further from passing, with just 13 votes for and 40 against,” reports Seattle’s KING-TV.

Ahh, man. This is really disappointing when you consider how radical to the left Washington is. They came so close to ending the transgender in women’s sports nonsense, and who knows, it could’ve maybe been a turning point in that state.

Thresholds sometimes suck, I can relate to that living in Florida, and here we go again.
