This is not the first time the singer’s public behavior has raised questions.

In February, Bieber was seen swaying side to side and grinning widely while attending a pop-up event in Los Angeles for his wife Hailey Bieber’s beauty brand, Rhode.

The footage from that event similarly fueled speculation about his mental and physical condition.

Following those events, Bieber’s representative denied any drug-related issues, dismissing the online speculation.

“The rumors were ‘exhausting and pitiful and shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive,’” the rep told TMZ at the time.

Despite those denials, individuals who previously worked with Bieber have also expressed concern.

One unnamed former team member spoke to The Hollywood Reporter, claiming the singer’s current path reflects someone who has lost direction.

“Seeing him disintegrate like this … it’s watching the embodiment of someone not living their purpose,” the former associate said.

“He’s lost. There’s no one protecting him because there’s no one there willing to say no to him. You say no, you get blown out.”

When asked to respond to those remarks, Bieber’s team pushed back again.

A spokesperson told Page Six, “This is just clickbait stupidity based on unnamed — and clearly ill-informed — ‘sources,’ disappointed that they no longer work with Justin.”

Bieber has not publicly addressed the most recent videos or the commentary surrounding his behavior at the Coachella-adjacent event.
