‘NOT deporting illegal aliens makes all of us safer’

U.S. Representative Pramila Jayapal doubled down on Democrats’ tone-deaf defense of illegal aliens as she argued that NOT deporting them will make America safer.

The leftist Democrat representing Washington defended sanctuary city policies in remarks made at a subcommittee hearing on President Donald Trump’s immigration enforcement policies.

“As I said in my opening, there are a lot of reasons why states and localities have adopted policies to leave immigration enforcement to the federal government where it belongs,” Jayapal, the Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Immigration, Integrity, Security, and Enforcement, said.

“For some, it’s about fostering trust with local communities,” the “Squad” member continued.

“When immigrant communities know that calling 911 won’t result in deportation for themselves or a family member, they are actually more willing to report and help law enforcement solve crimes, which makes all of us safer,” she claimed with a straight face.

Jayapal accused Trump of targeting immigrants “who are here lawfully” and claimed the administration is “fabricating stories about these immigrants being ‘criminals.’”

Her rant was blasted on social media, where X users dared her to make her argument to the families who’ve lost loved ones at the hands of migrant criminals in the country illegally.
