House Dems mount ‘concerted campaign’ to oust Musk from government by June

House Democrats are seeking to oust Elon Musk from the federal government before the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) completely dismantles their money laundering and fraud operations.

A group of leftist lawmakers have mounted a “concerted campaign” to force the Trump administration to send the Tesla/SpaceX CEO and DOGE chief packing by May 30, relying on a US Code requirement that “special government employees” are prohibited from serving more than 130 days, according to a report from Axios.

“We demand an immediate public statement from your administration making clear that Musk will resign and surrender all decision-making authority, as required by law, by May 30th,” a group of 77 Democrat House members said in a Wednesday letter to Trump.

The lawmakers wrote that Musk was prohibited from returning as a special government employee for a year “without divesting from his companies, including Tesla and SpaceX,” the outlet reported.

“We’re making it very clear that the public pressure is only going to ramp up on Republicans between here and May 30,” Congressional Progressive Caucus Chair Greg Casar (D-TX) told Axios.

The radical left-winger said the Democrats “have legal tools at our disposal, political tools at our disposal,” and the “full force of public pressure,” he added, seeming to suggest that the American people are clamoring for Musk to be removed, instead of continuing to help root out waste and corruption.

The report had X users suspecting that Democrats have something very bad to hide, and the longer that Musk stays, the more likely it will be uncovered.

The party’s shock troops have waged a savage campaign against Musk, targeting Tesla with protests orchestrated by left-wing NGOs and unleashing domestic terror attacks against the electric vehicle manufacturer’s dealerships, and it hasn’t worked. Now they are turning to more of their lawfare chicanery to undermine President Donald J. Trump’s reform mandate.

“In his short time in government, Elon Musk has done enormous harm to working Americans,” the letter reads. “Musk is continuing to enrich himself and break ethics laws. Musk continues to cut funds from programs that support working people, while his own companies continue to rake in more than $8 million per day in contracts and subsidies from the federal government.”

“Once Elon Musk is removed from his post, he may not legally return to the federal government this year without divesting from his companies, including Tesla and SpaceX. For the good of the country, Elon Musk should be removed from his position immediately. Under the law, Mr. Musk cannot remain in his position beyond May 30th,” wrote Casar and the more than six dozen pro-corruption Democrats.
