She took aim at Nigel Farage, ruling out any “national-level” deal with Reform as Farage wants to “destroy” the Conservative Party. Though she then went on to give Tory councillors the green light to form coalitions with Reform if it’s in the interest of local people. A shift from her previous stance of ruling out any deals altogether…

“I’m not doing deals with Reform. Nigel Farage has said that he wants to destroy the Conservative Party… but at a local level we end up with various coalitions… I’m telling local leaders across the country they have to do what is right for the people.”
