Barack Obama admits to ‘deep deficit’ with Michelle

Former President Barack Obama confessed that his two terms in the White House stained his marriage and that he was in a “deep deficit” with Michelle Obama amid rumors that the Democrat rock stars could be headed for a divorce.

During an appearance at Hamilton College in upstate New York on Thursday, Obama was asked by school President Steven Tepper what he’s been up to lately and said that he’s been working on his memoir and apparently his marriage.

“This is like 50 term papers. I mean, it just goes on forever,” he said of the book. “I’m hoping to get to the finish line on that.”

“Beyond that, look, I was in a deep deficit with my wife, so I have been trying to dig myself out of that hole by doing occasionally fun things,” Obama said, adding more fuel to the buzz that their relationship has seriously deteriorated.

The Obamas have been dogged by whispers of an imminent breakup for months with the stress of the disastrous Kamala Harris campaign potentially taking a toll as well.

The rumor mill churned when Mrs. Obama didn’t join her husband at Jimmy Carter’s funeral in January and Obama himself has been linked with actress Jennifer Aniston, a tabloid dream.

Michelle took a shot at her hubby during a recent appearance on brother Craig Robinson’s new podcast.

“Would you be attracted to a guy who’s not financially sound when you meet him?” Robinson asked.

“Uh, I married one,” she shot back.

Mr. Obama’s better half also got in a bedroom dig at her husband during an appearance on Kylie Kelce’s “Not Gonna Lie” podcast last month.

Barack Obama’s cryptic remarks about his relationship were just a brief moment in his Hamilton College speech, much of which was devoted to his usual dishonest demagoguery and bashing of President Donald J. Trump. At one point, he urged students to make sacrifices in order to resist the duly elected leader who he accused of undermining the world order.

“It has been easy during most of our lifetimes to say you are a progressive, or say you are for social justice, or say you are for free speech, and not have to pay a price for it…And now we’re in one of those moments when…it’s not enough just to say you’re for something. You may actually have to do something and possibly sacrifice a little bit,” he told students.

“All of you have grown up in an international order that was created by America after World War II. … This is an important moment because in the last two months, the U.S. government has been trying to destroy that order,” Obama added. “Democracy is pretty recent in its vintage. An international order where you cooperate instead of fight is new. It’s fragile.”
